During a period marked by major milestones for the company, María helped build Musgo’s brand value and develop its retail and franchise model. Her work included:
- Launching the company’s first imports and manufacturing activities in Asia.
- Designing the supply chain and outsourcing logistics.
- Introducing computerised business systems from 1987.
- Developing the store concept and franchise model.
- Developing the company’s first website in 1998.
She voluntarily left Musgo in 2002 to pursue her own entrepreneurial projects.
Thannac · Founder
2003–April 2026
María founded Thannac in 2003, developing its brand, products and fashion collections through direct work with manufacturers in Asia. Her leadership combined collection development with the day-to-day realities of running a fashion business and understanding customers.

- Launch of the brand’s social media presence in 2011.
- Launch of its first website in 2015.

- Digital transformation and online sales from 2017.
She sold the business in April 2026, completing 23 years at the head of the brand.

Thannac in the press
In April 2021, El Mundo Financiero highlighted Thannac’s beginnings in 2003 with natural-fabric collections made in India, colourful embroidery and limited editions. The article also featured The Thannac Silk Collection and described the brand’s digital transformation, which began in 2017.
In October 2023, an article published by Merca2 described more than twenty years of helping women feel confident through fashion, highlighting the brand’s distinctive style, limited editions and comfortable, coordinated outfits.

Brand ambassador for major consumer retail platforms and adviser to designers and fashion retailers developing collections in Asia.
